Day 45

We have had a busy day! This morning I got to talk to Eric. He got to watch Columbus beat Cincinnati. He told me that he almost got kicked out of the Chow Hall this morning. :) Anyway, we went to the Y and then to Speech. Asher now only has Speech once a month. Just to track his progress. He did great this morning. Afterwards, we met up with Lilliana and her Mom for lunch and a playdate at the park.

They were having such a great time, until their soccer balls were stolen. NOT GOOD!!! Total melt down!

I won't even post the video of it. It was pretty horrific. :(

I miss my bff...

Yo...Dog....American Idol is just not as much fun without my bff....I miss him....

Planting Flowers

After school we planted flowers. Asher was really excited! We spent about 2 hours outside. It is such a beautiful day. I hope the bulbs we planted will actually grow. :)

Then, he found a worm!!!!

Then, there were two!!!

We had a bunch of fun. I also planted basil and parsley in pots. :)........I desperatley need a shower....yucky.....

until Daddy gets home....today was Wacky Wednesday at school. He had to wear 2 different colored socks.

After school we went to feed ducks!

He had so much fun with the ducks.....I had so much fun watching him.....

Today has not been good.....

Dad had a heart attack last night. They put a stint in. He had 99% blockage in one of  his arteries. He is in recovery and doing better now. It was really scary getting my Mom's call this morning though. My nerves are shot. Asher has kept me busy today and I talked to Eric a couple times.

My goal is to blog every single day while Eric is gone, so he can have that to look forward to.

to go before Daddy gets home....

We took Eric to the airport yesterday. I was having anxiety pretty bad all last night, so I decided to make lists....things to do and places to go with Asher, cleaning projects, fitness goals and beauty regimens I want to try while Eric is gone. It helped.

After school, we went to the library. Asher got 2 movies and books, and I got some cookbooks to look at. Maybe I'll find a new recipe to try this weekend.

Anyway, I can cross off one of the cleaning projects off my list. My closet! It was a disaster! I am donating clothes, shoes, books, Asher's coat and halloween costume to his school. They are having a yard sale to help raise money. :)

This pile grew to another garbage bag full! While I was busy cleaning.....Asher was working on his planets and solar system. He also wanted to color.

That picture of Eric is the one he opened up today. Eric made 49 envelopes with a surprise note and a picture of him. :)
