Great time in D.C.!

We had a blast at the game last night! Asher had his own popcorn and his first pop ever.....he was sooo happy! We also got there early enough to get a free bobble head that we kept calling "his trophy"......the balloon he's holding is a blue bird....the Wizards won by 2 points and Asher had fun the entire time....I was a little surprised because he had a long day and the game didn't start until 7pm.....but he had a blast!!!...

We are in the cheap seats.....really....THE cheapest seats, but it was actually great because we had plenty of room behind us to store our coats and bobble heads...balloons....magnets...extra suckers...etc..etc...

After the game we walked back to the Hyatt and ordered 2 really pricey desserts....a peach cobbler cheesecake and fudge brownies with icecream.....not the best ever, but it did the job of satisfying our sweet tooth....
Asher normally sleeps really good....even during hotel stays...but, last night he did not.....it probably had nothing to do with all that popcorn...pop....or candy that we let him have during the basketball game....we just wanted him to have the best experience ever....I think we succeeded....:)

After we got dressed and packed this morning...we headed out to search for somewhere cool to eat....we had talked about going to Lincoln's Waffle House, but when we went in.....it was too crammed and no where to really sit a kid....lots of bar seats....cool, but not really doable with Asher....so, after some more walking...we finally found a place with nuggets and fries....per Asher's request......Harry's was really good....great waiter....good food...huge portions....and inexpensive for D.C. prices....

After we ate we headed to the Museum of American History.....

We had an awesome little trip to D.C.!!!....I can't wait to take Asher to another game....

We just got home a little bit ago....Asher is in the bath....painting away with his bath paints....Eric is watching the Jets and Patriots....and now that I'm done blogging.....I am going to try and watch it too......
