There was a dinner request this evening. To my surprise, Asher wanted spaghetti....WHAT???.....Yep, my son! The little guy that eats like 5 things asked for something new. I immediately started boiling water!

Sunday Fun

My Surprise

Yesterday, we had planned on going for dinner and drinks somewhere new. We didn't get to do much on our actual anniversary (Thursday), because Eric had to wake up at 4am on Friday morning. Moping around was what we were doing yesterday morning. My plan was to run off the heartache and pain from the night before....on the treadmill. I know a bb game should not make that much of a difference in your daily life, but we are "sports people"....it really hurt....:( So, I ran. And ran. Then, I biked. After I got home, Eric called and told me to start packing an overnight bag. He had called Jessica (babysitter) and asked her to stay overnight. He went on to explain that we needed to get out of our stenchy mood and stay the night in downtown Richmond. He booked the Omni Hotel in the Shockoe Bottom District and we were off! We had a great time at these places and met a wonderful new cab driver, Hamid.

At Sine Irish Pub....The draft selection was awesome! Smithwick's, Harp and Magner's Cider were all on tap! Score!!!!
We got Hamid and headed to Legends Brewery, which kind of reminded us of a Golden Corral. Very strange. Eric ordered fried hotdogs....disgusting....:)

Yes, I still kissed him after he ate beer battered fried hotdogs.....After he devoured those disgusting puppies, Hamid took us back to Tobacco Company.

Fridays Are For Shopping!

Almost every Friday, Asher and I go shopping and eat lunch at Chick fil a or McDonalds. Today, I took him to Toys R Us and let him pick out a couple new toys. He told me that he wanted more letters to make lots of words. He is getting to where he hates me taking his picture. This is the only one that he was semi-smiling in, and it was because I asked him if he wanted a doll baby....he laughed and said no.

Eleven Years Together

My husband and I were married eleven years ago....today! I wrote a really long...three paragraphs about our relationship and my passion for Eric Roby. But, I don't think it's necessary. He is the love of my life. Period.

Wonder Woman

For the last 2 days, I haven't exercised. This morning I woke up feeling a lot "off". I desperately needed to sweat asap! I needed to get my endorphins up and running! But, I also had to go to the grocery store.....yuck! So, I went and hurried/shopped my booty off to make it to the Y for a 45 minute workout. I felt so energized and back on track afterwards. I feel like I got so much done today. Our fridge is stocked, I got a good sweat, Asher and I did a project, dinner is already half prepared and I even got something special for my husband. I hope he likes it! Today is one of those days that I feel like WONDER WOMAN!!!!

Dancin The Jig....

I was a dancin fool last night! Eric and I had so much fun! Eric took yesterday and today off for March Madness. Eric worked on our yard all day and Asher had a blast helping him. Jessica (babysitter) came to babysit at 5pm and Eric and I headed to Steelhorse. The evening was filled with basketball, beer, good food, meeting new friends, hanging out with old ones, celtic music and dancin the jig......yep, I broke the law again....:)

March Madness....

Eric took tomorrow and Friday off.....we plan on watching plenty of basketball, working on our yard, drinking beer....and, oh yeah....I have a trail marathon on Saturday morning......which, I'm totally not prepared for, but.....gonna do it anyway....wish me luck!

My husband has had a tough week. I thought I'd get him a St. Patty's Day surprise....

He's still at work, but he just texted me and said he was going to be home soon....and it's like a Friday.....yippeeeee!!!
Asher was hungry....made him dinner.....he's taking a bath while painting.....I'm sipping on a budlight....:)
